Camilo Sandoval
Managing Director
Camilo served under President Trump (45) as the 3rd Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the United States at the White House, overseeing AI, cybersecurity, and technology policies and budgets across all 24 CFO Act Federal Agencies. His leadership also extended to chairing the Federal Acquisition Security Council, as authorized by the Federal Acquisition Supply Chain Security Act of 2018 (FASCSA), where significant progress was made in strengthening the nation’s supply chain resilience and economic security. Those efforts continue today and are reflected in the 2024 National Cyber Strategy.
Previously, Camilo served as Chief Information Officer (CIO) at the Department of Veterans Affairs, and was responsible for steering a $325 billion healthcare and financial services enterprise, administering a $4.5 billion annual tech budget and leading 16,000 IT professionals; overseeing 171 medical centers and 1,298 facilities. His efforts were instrumental in elevating the VA’s IT department—the second-largest in the federal government—into an entity focused on achieving operational excellence and delivering world-class digital healthcare.
Camilo also served as the Senior White House Advisor to the U.S. Department of the Treasury and led the Treasury Presidential Transition team during the administration’s first 100 days. In this role, he played a pivotal part in the confirmation process of the 77th Treasury Secretary and coordinated with OMB and legislative affairs to implement the President’s Management Agenda.
